If anyone wishes to organise a reunion in Brisbane please use the EVENTS link in the ALSFITT FaceBook page or you can contact the and I will advertise it for you.

It is easy to do, all that is necessary for anyone wishing to organise a reunion is to; find a venue, preferably where drinks & food can be purchased without having to cater for it, which has a reasonable central location, that public transport be accessible, and then just pick the date and time.

One other thing to consider is that if planned during the holiday season, it may be difficult for people to get accommodation & travel.

An Armourers reunion is was held in South East Queensland on 4 November 2006. It is organised by the Gunnies although (ex & serving) ALSFITTs, SEWs & Fabric Workers were invited.

The 2001 Brisbane reunion was held on 20th October 2001 at the RAAF Base Amberley SGT's Mess. All up about 50 people turned up for a night of great food and cheap/free grog. A lot of catching up with 'old times' & 'old friends' was done, with a few members kicking on into the wee hours. Two members where still there at 7:30am the next morning. Sorry I don't have the names of attendees.

The 2000 Brisbane reunion was held at the RAAF Base Amberley SGT's Mess. All up about 50 people come along for a night of catching up with 'old times' & 'old friends' with good food and lots of beer and spirits drunk. Below is a list of attendees.
